He was an angel before his birth that graced us with his love here on earth for three amazing years. Having saved his family in more ways than can be expressed, God returned this Angel to heaven where he will watch over us until we are called Home.
Any and all are welcome to join us in celebrating his special life on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 at 3:00 pm at The Guardian Retreat. In lieu of flowers and condolence gifts for the passing of our angel, please consider donating to our retreat so we can continue our mission in his honor. Our farm/retreat was August's favorite place to be. It fueled his body and soul. He was a driving force behind our desire to open our personal sanctuary for the healing and happiness of others.

About Us
The Guardian Retreat, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization for youth, veterans and families.
The Retreat is an escape from daily stresses for Veterans & Families to rest, relax and reconnect. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in seasonal structured wellness retreats. They will also be welcome to stay for quiet escapes when structured retreats are not occurring.
The Academy is a retreat from traditional education for our youth. We offer a guided environment for eager minds to escape the challenges of today's childhood and pursue becoming balanced and empowered human beings; human beings strong and courageous enough to embrace a lifetime of learning and growth. We provide an education experience built around a functioning farm, using nature to enhance the learning environment and promote creativity.
